Quickie meal: pesto from a jar
Most of us are busy working people who want a good meal but are always short of time and budget. This is a good quickie meal that can be cooked under 10 minutes but devoured at an average of 1 minute (in my case!)
This is my simple pesto pasta recipe.
In a pot of boiling water, put in the pasta for 5 minutes. After the pasta is cooked, exchange the pot with a non-stick pan and melt a table spoon of butter.
Put in the prawns. After 50 seconds, add the drained pasta into the pan and add in a dollop of pesto from the jar.
Mix well and off the fire.
There you go, a bowl of simple pesto pasta easily finished under one minute, may I claim!
